Sterek The Dragon Prince AU. Many years ago, the land of Zadia was home to to humans, elves and dragons. But that changed when a human mage sought to harness magic - a power that only elves and dragons had managed to access. But magic only comes from six natural sources known as Arcana: the sky, earth, water, ice, the sun, and the moon. Humans couldn’t harness these Arcana, and so one mage accessed a new power, a destructive force that consumes the life essence of living creatures: dark magic.

Elves and dragons banned together to exhile the humans from Zadia. Centuries later, the human’s lands are frozen over, the crops are dead and food stores have rotten. The high mage, Chris Argent, offers Queen Talia a solution, but it requires the heart of a creature only found in Zadia. The King knows it’s a bad idea, but it’s their only choice. It’s a choice that costs him the love of his life, his queen (who is one of the best fighters in the kingdom) is killed by the Dragon King, leaving behind a son (the kings step son) - Stiles - and their son, Eli.

Years later, the king exacts revenge on Zadia when he and the high mage kill the Dragon King and destroy the dragon’s egg, an act that Zadia reteliates for, sending moon elf assassins to kill the king.

The youngest moon elf assassin is Derek, who is tasked with finding and killing the King’s son, Eli.

But when he breaks into the castle, it’s Stiles he finds. Stiles lies to protect his half-brother, saying he’s Eli, but Eli comes tumbling into the room at that moment. Stiles tries to get Eli away from Derek but the three stumble upon the high mage’s secret, hidden below the castle is the egg of the Dragon Prince. Chris had stolen the egg, not destroyed it, hoping to use its immeasurable energy for his dark magic.

Stiles begs Derek to let them take the egg back to the Dragon Queen in hopes it will bring peace to the land and stop the war. Derek agrees on the condition he goes with them to make sure the egg is safe.

If only it were that simple. Their journey is drought with danger and the high mage’s daughter, Allison, is sent to kill them and take back the egg.

1. How many works do you have on AO3?

Total works? I have 398. This might not be completely accurate depending on your point of view. For almost everything I write I create a podfic for it, and these days I post it at the same time in the text document. For solely written works, I have 31.

2. What's your total AO3 word count?

For all works (Including the minimal text on podfic only posts) I have 483,266. For hours of podfic, I don’t have a total right now, (My spreadsheet is messed up so I’m making a new one), but I have over 300 hours from lst count before the spreadsheet got messed up

3. What fandoms do you write for?

My main fandom right now is Hannibal. For writing only, I’ve written for Daredevil, star Wars, Dragon Ball, Avatar the Last Airbender, My hero Academia, Yuri on ice, Steven universe, marvel (Comics, MCU, And Netflix), captive prince and teen wolf. For podfic that list expands exponentially. Podfic includes all of the above, and other ones I’ve created a significant amounts of works for include Star Trek AOS, Tin Man, The Man From U.N.C.L.E. 5. Do you respond to comments?

Yes, I am chronically online. I get email alerts of comments, and I check my email multiple times a day, so I respond to every comment unless the email gets eaten.

6. What is the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?

For podfic, It would either have to be the November series (A daredevil fic series that has ALL THE WARNINGS and has a v sad ending) Or Il Faut Souffrir Pour Être Beau, a Hannibal podfic that has a lot of warnings and a sad ending. For writing? Kindling (A Hannibal fanfic) which I wrote with Artemiaz is v angsty, Tethered and tied to me (An ATLA fic), has all the warnings and ends v v sad. Another close one would be The Awakening and the Sleep which has an immortal Matt Murdock (Daredevil fandom) and like it makes him even more reckless and things do not go well for him. But this is not finished. I Also have a dead dove account with a Hannibal fic that is not finished, but involves forced feminzation and underage, where things are v fucked up (I won’t link it but if you wanna read it DM me)

7. What's the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?

Definitely No Heart for me like yours. It Is a dragon ball fic with Gohan/Vegeta, Gohan/Videl, And Bulma/Vegeta. It is p fluffy and the polyamory is well discussed and V healthy.

8. Do you get hate on fics?

I have got some on podfic, I like dead dove tropes and fucked up relationships, and I’ve had some people come after me for.

9. Do you write smut?

I both write and record smut. The first thingI did when I decided I wanted to podfic was record some pure smut to make sure I could do it. For writing, I’ve written a fe short smut stories, and most of my longer ones end up having at least one smut scene if not more

10. Craziest crossover?

I wrote sailor moon/dragon ball crossover when I was like 14. I have never written a traditional crossover on my current account, But I have written fusions/AU’s. I have a Steven universe x star wars prequel AU. I also have star wars AU’s for most of the fandoms iv’e written for, I have a spideypool one, A My Hero Academia one, And A Hannibal one. I have also podficced a number of fusions and crossovers. I am working on an AMAZING, Stargate sg-1 x ATLA crossover called the dragon King’s temple and it is to die for, SO fucking good

No, but I’ve been plaguized

I have not, But I do podfic my own works. And I had a friend podfic a work of mine

13. Have you ever co-written a fic before?

Yes, I love it, For he has held a star was co-written, and so was kindling. I also do podtogether where I sign up with a writer to write a fic specifically for me to podfic, and I am part of/organize a lot of multi-voice podfics.

14. All time favourite ship?

I’m usually the type of person who loves one charter, and I don’t care who they are shipped with as long as the fic is good. Exceptions being currently Hannibal Lecter/Will Graham. John/Rodney from Stargate Atlantis was another, and Merlin/Arthur form Merlin. But I will read ot3’s with the two I ship in it.

15. What's a WIP you want to finish but doubt you ever will?

For He held a star. My co-writer got super big into the rebel legion and the mandolorian mercs (Star wars charity costuming groups) And she no longer has time to write. I want to finish it myself, but I have no idea where the story is going and I have to figure that out first.

16. What are your writing strengths?

I am good at dialogue, I find it easy to get a firm grasp on characters voices. For podfic I am excellent with both humor and drama. For certain fandoms I have been told I have an excellent impression of character’s voices.

17. What are your writing weaknesses?

I deffo am not used to doing extensive description. I also thought I was bad at metaphor and Similes, so I purposefully stayed away from writing them, hence fulfilling the prophesy that I would not get good, bc no practice. I am working on that now though.

18. Thoughts on dialogue in another language?

I Use it sparingly, most of the time where it is clear what it is in context. Also as a podficcer I hate when something is in another language and I have to do research to find out how to pronounce it properly.

19. First fandom you wrote in?

Sailor moon and dragon Ball Z! First intro to anime and it pulled me down a rabbit hole.

20. Favorite fic you've written?

Ooh boy, IDK, I love No Heart for me like yours, It was so fluffy and with like very few problems between characters, and I though I had a fair number of funny bits in it. It was also the first WIP I finished (It ended up being just over 50k) Currently I Really love When Soft Voices Die, My Star Wars x Hannibal fusion.

For podfic I love Untitled soul mate game. A star Wars fic that is an alternate Universe - Soulmate Goose of enforcemnt fic. I think i did a great job with the humor and i added a bunch of Goose sound effects. I love Il Faut Souffrir Pour Être Beau it was so angsty and sad and i had so much fun reading all the drama. I t is also the longest podfic i have recorded to date, it clocks in at just undert 17 hours.

Heinz 57 is a marvel crack fic where a pikachu appears in Wade Wilson's apartment. It is v funny and has extensive sound effects, nd a fully soundscaped pokemon battle at the end

And lastly my fav multivoice i've organized is to have and to hold, a spidervers fic that shows a flashback of when Mile's univer's aunt may got married to doc ock for a small time. ALl of my readers were fucking phenominal and it was so funny.

Would anyone like Mulan (1998) Characters on this book as well?

The beauty in the story isn't  most like Disney princesses, she isn't skinny. This can is a "I can be a change him" trope but I won't do Stockholm Syndrome. definitely hurt/comfort trope and grumpy x sunshine trope a bit of enemies to lovers.

Characters are still benders and Zuko is still a Prince and comes from a rich family. Azula and Zuko will have a much closer relationship because I believe in Azula Redemption arc.

Cursed 

18 year old Zuko was enraged at his uncle. Hama was watching from a far while. Bursting out the Jasmine Dragon. Getting away from his uncle. Still calling his uncle and others names lashing out on others. Shoving the old woman out of his way. "Out of my way you old hag! Who do you think you are?!" The old woman didn't mean to bump into Zuko "unintentionally." What Zuko doesn't know that old women was Hama the Southern Water Tribe Witch. Who controls people through blood bending like a puppet. She even curses those who mistreat others and for their awful behavior. Hama had a bad experience in the pass she got her family her tribe taken away even her gifts that temporarily removed her as a water bender.

Hama smirks creepily. Hama saw his past, how he would be angry towards others. Chasing even bullying Team Avatar: Aang, Katara, Sokka, Tala, and Toph. Back in High School. Even to the one person he cares and love the most his uncle. "You got an awful temper young lad. I thought you'd change? You know, you should respect your elders. Still acting like this as you were as a teen? Aren't you an adult now? Should've known better by now young lad." Zuko Scoffs. Thinking, 'That's the most creepy looking old lady I ever seen.'

Stopping from his tracks now facing the old woman. "Respect? You don't know me. You should mind your own business. What are you even talking about?! How do you know-?" Zuko was about blast fire at Hama.  

Hama uses her blood bending. to stop him. Pulling him closer. "I wouldn't do that if I were you young lad." Zuko rarely shown fear the last time he did was he did was he thought he was supposed to do the Agni Kai with the general but instead it was his father. which received a scar from his father. "That  scar doesn't make you  monstrous. What makes you that way is your actions. Which there are consequences to your actions. Someone should've teach you a lesson."  Hama thought he needs to know what's it like to be a loving and friendly young boy back when he was 7. He needs new friends or at least someone to remind him that he have good in his heart and his family other than his uncle, mother, and great grand father Roku.  "You don't know how to handle your own anger. You have been selfish, obsessed to regain your honor. Who would gets your way. You need more kindest in this world. That you forgot what love and happiness is." Which causes Hama to magically put a curse on him to become the Scarred Dragon every time the sun goes down and once it's sun rise he'll become human again. Now releases him.

18 year old Zuko didn't believe in what Hama said to him. Once the sun went down. Zuko starts seeing that he's growing scales, fangs, claws.

Rushing to his apartment shared with his apartment. destroying everything in his room due to his size. Then, rushing to the bathroom looking into the mirror he starts to get more self conscious even in dragon form he still have that scar on his left eye. "NO! THIS CAN'T BE HAPPENING! NO!" "Uncle! Uncle something's happening to me!!!" Iroh wakes up due to Zuko's commotion. That was the first  Iroh saw time his nephew turned into a dragon. Covering his face, crushing the mirror. Feeling like an actual monster. 'I can't live like this.' Knowing he has school and work night shifts at The Jasmine Dragon.

Iroh tried to comfort him and speak up. "Zuko-" About to place his hand on his nephews shoulder. His nephew tried flying out the window and went on top of the  apartment alone.

This is the second time Zuko saw Hama she's on the roof top. "I am no ordinary  "old hag" I am a witch. Hama from the Southern Water Tribe who cursed you. Every time the sun goes down you turn into a Dragon. Once the sun rises you'll be a human think of it as a werewolf. Within a full moon you'll be a full dragon. The entire time."

Zuko breathing out fire. "What?! Cursed me? I can't go out looking like this! Like the original fire benders!!! At least tell me how to get out looking like this!!!"

Hama used her blood bending to get him to face her and listen. "You can't always get your way Prince Zuko. You have to suffer the consequences. You have until your 21st birthday to build, fix your relationships."

Zuko snapped, "What relationships?"

"Your family, friends, possibly a lover." Smiling creepily, Hama kept his mouth shut. "-There is more to the world then just black and white. At least find someone that'll love you at your worst. Remember what I said to you at the Jasmine Dragon. Or you have to adapt and live like this forever." Hama then disappeared. Releasing him.

Iroh met up with Zuko. Zuko heard his uncle walking behind him. Iroh overheard the conversation between Hama and Zuko conversation.

"Uncle, I can't have you looking at me like this. Leave!" Not facing him. Iroh didn't care what he looks like. He still loves his nephew.

He thought of Mai more as a friend they broke up 3 years ago. Even his sister they made up. Ursa took custody of Azula during Ozai's and Ursa's divorce. Though Azula still working on her relationship with Ursa. Azula is roommates with Ty Lee and Mai

The Gaang, he slowly gaining a friendship in his junior year of High School. Once first year of college hit  he started spending less time with the Gaang... Even Tala when she needed him to dance for her birthday Zuko just left. She never understood why. Instead she have Haru danced with her. 2 years of friendship she thought why is he pushing her and her and the rest of the gaang away just like that?

1. How many works do you have on AO3? Officially, 71. (I also have a handful of fics that I've moved into the anonymous collection-- mostly unfinished WIPs I currently have no plan to return to.)

2. What's your total AO3 word count? 231,362-- I'm so close to a quarter million words, hopefully I'll get there by the end of the year.

3. What fandoms do you write for? The majority of my posted fics are for Avatar: The Last Airbender (plus a few for Avatar: Legend of Korra), and I've written several fics for the Miraculous Ladybug and Fairy Tail fandoms. Currently, the fics I'm working on with the most regularity are for the How to Train Your Dragon and Once Upon a Time fandoms (A Better Version of Our Best and Not My Homeland Anymore, respectively). 5. Do you respond to comments? Why or why not? Yes! I love responding to comments for the simple reason that I always want to talk about my stories, and who better to discuss them with than the people who love them enough to leave comments on them?

6. What's the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending? Oh, unquestionably It's Winter Again (And I Can't Wait To See You) [ATLA]. I like writing open-ended stories, so sometimes I'll write oneshots with angsty but ultimately hopeful endings (that may or may not end up developing into full-fledged series). This story, however, was not left optimistically open-- it is just angsty and tragic and I LOVE it.

7. What's the fic you wrote with the happiest ending? The happiest? Uh, just going by the completed fics… I want to say Something Like a Love Story [ATLA], which I think has one of the sweetest endings I've ever written, but even though the story itself has a happy ending, it is a pre-canon story about Hakoda and Kya, and anyone reading it knows how their story ended, so it really ends up feeling more bittersweet than anything else. So maybe Just Between Us (Did the Love Affair Maim You Too?) [ATLA]? It's a nice, solid hurt/comfort fic where I really made the characters work for their happy ending, so it does have a sweet, feel-good payoff. But there are three main characters in that story, and only two of them actually get a real happy ending, so maybe not. (Zuko and Toph are definitely living happily ever after, but Mai still has some more work to do before she can say the same.) I guess I've got to go with The Bells of Kardia Cathedral. That was a just a cute, fun little story full of humorous misunderstandings, but at the end of the day, everyone involved got their happy endings.

8. Do you get hate on fics? Honestly, no-- which is pleasantly surprising, considering that a lot of my stuff is kind of niche and involves unpopular and often Problematique ships.

9. Do you write smut? If so, what kind? No, your local neighborhood prude over here is not about to write anything stemier than the occasional chaste makeout scene.

10. Do you write crossovers? What's the craziest one you've written? Yes, but I think about way more crossovers than I've ever actually written. The craziest one is probably a tie between Fairy Tail in NIFLHEIM [Fairy Tail x Shall We Date?: THE NIFLHEIM+] (for pure crackiness) and my untitled Miraculous Ladybug/Fullmetal Alchemist AU (for meshing two canons that had no business blending so well together).

11. Have you ever had a fic stolen? Not really-- there was an incident a while back where someone compiled all of the wawl/wawh series into a single fic, but they posted it privately, and I think they just wanted it all in one place for downloading purposes. In any case, I'm pretty sure it's gone now. (For those interested in having this series all together, it's in one piece on FFN.)

12. Have you ever had a fic translated? Not as far as I know. But someone did make a podfic for this side of the sun!

13. Have you ever co-written a fic before? Nah. I've talked about collaborating with a few different writers over the years, but nothing has ever worked out. (Yet!)

14. What's your all-time favourite ship? Nathan and Haley from One Tree Hill. No question.

15. What's a WIP you want to finish, but doubt you ever will? The People They Once Were [ATLA/LOK]. This was the first Avatar-verse fic I ever wrote. For so long, I wanted to write something for this fandom, but I had absolutely zero ideas. (In fact, I initially watched LOK with the hope that it would give me some fic-writing fodder, which it did.) And then I finally had this idea, and I was so excited about it, but I didn't quite… know what to do with it. I probably won't ever come back to this one, but I am grateful to it for breaking that ice and allowing me to help me get into writing for this fandom (in which I've been quite prolific).

16. What are your writing strengths? Closing lines and action between dialogue. I try really hard to end everything just the right way, and I do my best to make sure the reader can follow what the characters are doing as they talk to each other. I also like to think I'm decent at writing emotional descriptions.

17. What are your writing weaknesses? Fighting scenes and visual descriptions. I have a hard enough time making sure I maintain a solid spatial awareness of what characters are doing where in a normal interaction. (Aphantasia, my beloathed.)

18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language for a fic? I've done it before, sure. While reading fics in the Fullmetal Alchemist fandom, I noticed that several writers had used Hebrew as a stand-in for the Ishbalan language, and as I have some familiarity with the language (not that I have any real fluency, and I certainly couldn't carry on any more than a very simple conversation, but I can read it well enough, and am comfortable with its syntax and grammatical conventions), I decided I could use it, too. While writing my FMA fic, i bled out tears (the only water in the desert), I also interspersed a bit of Yiddish and Aramaic, as those languages mesh well with Hebrew. The whole thing was really fun! In general, while I'm not against writing dialogue in another language, I'm not well-versed enough in linguistics to invent my own, so it would have to be an actual real-world language, and I would have to have enough of an understanding of said language to be able to play around with it. (Lately, I've been thinking about writing a retelling of one of my favorite biblical stories, in which I would almost certainly use some amount of Hebrew dialogue.)

19. First fandom you wrote for? Well, I vaguely recall writing some proto-fanfiction in elementary school for assignments and stuff ("write about what you think happened to this character after the book was over"), and somewhere out there in the world is a binder with the outline (and a handful of scenes) of an elaborate Twilight fanfic I plotted out in middle school (complete with a vampire creation story!). But the first fandom I really wrote for was Familiar of Zero, back in 2015. This was still three years before I actually discovered fanfiction, but I finished all four seasons of the show in about a week and was struck with such a solid idea of what would happen directly following the final scene (probably some of those old school assignments sticking with me) that I had to write it down immediately. I did eventually post it (basically untouched) on AO3 as Hero's Return. The first fandom I actually posted for was Miraculous Ladybug, not long after discovering AO3. (The first fic I ever posted was A Miraculous Night.)

20. Favourite fic you've ever written? Oh, undoubtedly A Better Version of Our Best. I consider this story my magnum opus-- I love the family drama aspect, the parallel storylines spark such joy, and the worldbuilding and character development has been so interesting. I'm also experimenting with some new storytelling techniques and pacing strategies. I think it's really a culmination of everything I've ever learnt about writing and storytelling (so far!).

Year in Fandom | 2023

First Fandom of 2023: January of 2023 seems to have been a conglomeration of Steddie, House of the Dragon, and random small fandoms from Yuletide Favorite Main Character of 2023: Fuck, probably Loki. I mean he wasn't a big part of my particular corner of the fandom this year, but I'd be lying if I said he wasn't the one who made the biggest impact. Favorite Villain of 2023: Do we consider Lestat in Interview with the Vampire a villain? If yes, that, because goddamn did they do a fantastic job of making the brat prince the biggest little shit I've ever seen grace my television. If no, probably the Darkling. Favorite M/F Couple of 2023: Karlach/Astarion came at me swinging. But I also think I ship Astarion with everyone in my party. They're all a big poly jumble, I don't make the rules. Favorite F/F Couple of 2023: Okay, so bit of a tie here. The Bonnie/Marceline from the doomed universe in Fionna and cake has me in an absolute chokehold. But also, I am obsessed with Lae'zel and Shadowheart. Favorite M/M Couple of 2023: Yeah, Steddie wins this one for the second year in a row. Favorite OT3 of 2023: Tears of the Kingdom had me shipping Zelda/Link/Ganondorf all summer. I mean, c'mon. I wrote a political marriage AU. Fandom That You Never Expected To Get Into: Danny Phantom? Somehow? I have never once watched the show but a tiktok made me find the coolest, angstiest introduction to this fandom. Fandom That Made An Unexpected Comeback: I had THREE Teen Wolf fics make it to my Top 25. I spent most of March rereading old favorites. Last Fandom of 2023: Stranger Things. Steddie is still going strong a year and some change later. Favorite Fandom of 2023: Honestly, probably Stranger Things. Found Family AU character facts (part 2)

so...I decided to do a part 2 afterall cause hey, there's more characters involved than just Xornoth and Shrub. idk how many of these I'll actually do because most of the characters stay relatively the same.

but, there are a few side characters that are more prevalent than others, and those are: Scott, Sausage, Joey, and Lady Sun. I'll probably split these up into parts - so at least two characters per post because I seem to have the habit of writing really looong posts with this AU

Lady Sun, aka Mother Wolf

the Mother Wolf is a direwolf that resides in a grove full of large trees. her age is undetermined, she could be a few years old or she could be 100, nobody knows except the spirits of the forest and they stay silent on the matter

she has many offspring that follow her lead.

she is fearless and will give her life to protect her pack; and she has a strong connection with the spirits of the forest.

for as long as she's been alive, the forest has been a sanctuary to not only the forest spirits but to any soul that wanders in looking for shelter

Scott Smajor

Scott is an elf of Rivendell who is unknowingly the reincarnation of another elf named Alinar. he is a prince who was born with white wings - a blessing of Aeor - and he was raised to stand above his people and not as one of them.

he grew up on stories of the past, one of the more prevalent being "The Clash of the Great Stags" - it is a story that all elves learn to know by heart.

he was crowned king in his teens (elf years) because of his parents' deaths and took the throne. from then on, it was his job to run the kingdom as those before him and to take audiences with the rulers of the neighboring kingdoms - he didn't like interacting with the others so whenever he did, he was cold and distant in attitude

most everyone kept him at arms length, except strong stable boys and pretty servant boys - Scott was a flirt in private and if he wanted companionship for the night, he got it

it wasn't until a few centuries later when he would make his first real friend. in the Overgrown, a queen arose that was in a similar position to him - her mother had passed on and despite being a teen, she took the throne

when she did, one of her first acts as Queen was solidifying an alliance with the elf kingdom - she wrote to Scott frequently and visited him so often that she became a familiar face in his kingdom. she made sure he had good and proper fun and despite trying to keep things formal between them, Scott found his resolve waning and he eventually let her in past the walls he built inside of himself

Katherine of House Blossom, Guardian of the Overgrown, Fairy Queen of the Flower Fields, was Scott's first friend and he would protect that friendship until his dying breath

another century and he meets more rulers, most being some form of magical creature: two dragon-human hybrids - one a wizard and the other obsessed with what's essentially just a shiny rock, a chaotic little dwarf that made his dog his second in command, a farmer who he suspects is actually some kind of goddess in disguise, a man who's been blessed by Lady Death to see the death of those around him, a colorful birdbrain who's just crazy enough to warrant avoiding at any cost, a man who prefers building over social interactions, two axolotl merfolk - one who should not under any circumstances be angered and the other who has a very unhealthy obsession with salmon cod, of all things - cod

Scott makes alliances with Gem, fWhip, and Pearl - more out of necessity than anything else - and by that default, Sausage since he and fWhip are practically attached at the hip
